Come stroll with me in the early morning,
I may be overtaken and kiss you without warning.
In awe of your beauty and your love,
Knowing this was created and a gift from above.

 As the sun rises spreading it's rays,
illuminating God's beauty each day.
I see our love in another light,
here, caught between day and nite.

 As the early morning light brightens your smile
I am thankful to be able to hold you, if only for a while.
To see the sparkle in your blue eyes, the love on your face
I am thankful to God to be in this place.

 Somehow knowing, we will never part.
Safe, secure and loved, deep in your heart.
And you wrapped up deep in mine,
I wish for you the same, till the end of time,

 I know that one day hopefully not far away,
we will be side by side each and every day.
But for now, I have my memories to relive,
and a heart full of love of which to give.
