What is this I have found, is it something new?
Or has it always been around?
Or am I too self-centered? Thinking of me..
Was I even looking, or did it come seeking?

In my deepest being, I can not dream,
of the depth of love that encompasses me.
No, can't take credit for this, I didn't find it.
Was a much mightier hand that guided me to it.

The love of my life, once a fantasy,
has now been delivered directly to me.
I searched so hard in days now past,
now I give up and it finds me at last.

So wonderful and joyous, this feeling is,
to share it with you, is utter bliss.
My day begins with you in my heart,
You are on my mind right from the start.

Yet in the end, when the day is done,
I look around and I'm not alone.
For you are there through it all,
To help lift me up, or catch me if I fall.

To my precious soulmate, this is my pledge,
I'll follow you all over the world, even to it's edge.
I willingly give all of myself to you,
and you know my love is pure and true.

What is this I have found, is it something new?
Or has it always been around?
Whatever it is, I want it more,
While together we open new doors....
